Dawn and Frank Maher own and operate Sun
Valley Quilts. Sun Valley Quilts tag line is 'Inspiration -
Imagination - Creativity!' and the Mahers believe that is what their
customers enjoy on every visit. Inspiration comes easy for any
shopper browsing the store and if getting creative is on the agenda,
there are classes galore, covering every topic from beginner quilting
and machine mastery to embroidery, home dec and garment sewing.
Class schedules are available on this
website and if you sign-up for our mailing list, we will email the
schedule to you! Our Bernina customers enjoy great classes
beyond the store's Mastery Program. Many of the store classes are
geared around the different accessories that assist the sewer in
creating a better project, but are not just limited to Bernina machines.
Our area has many guilds that support us and
we support them with periodic visits to their meeting, bringing
information and new products.
Sun Valley Quilts offers top-of-the-line
quality products whether it is sewing machines, fabrics, notions or
reference materials. You can find it all here! Customers
expect to see new and different items almost every time they walk
through the door, so we give it to them. We keep in touch with
them via e-mail, letting them know what is going on at the store and the
latest and greatest in new products. We even run mini-sales,
asking the customer to print out our web coupon to take advantage of our
"Web Only" sales.
Sewing and quilting are Dawn's creative
outlets and she says she is lucky to be able to work in an industry that
she loves. She reads sewing and quilting books like other people
read novels, and her job allows her to share her passion with others.
