We are pleased to announce a new opportunity for quilters who use rulers or wish to learn how to quilt with rulers. Starting in July, Marilyn Manwaring will be offering a class each month featuring a themed project that uses rulers. If you wish to forego the project, feel free to bring UFO's or projects that you would like to receive individualized instruction upon. Beginners are welcome and will either work on the project, or can do a different square each month while learning how to use their beginning ruler set. This class will be listed as "Rulers Can Quilt". Look for it each month and the special project that is offered. What a great way to continue to use the rulers and practice your skills, whether it be on the monthly project or your own creations. Lynn will demonstrate the long arms and ruler work for those who want to know what all the fuss is about, also techniques like hooping designs and transferring them from discs or online into your machine for stitch out. We hope you will join us to listen and learn more about sewing and the tools that we use.
