Trudy Viscusi
Trudy has been sewing since she can remember. Her grandmother, a seamstress by trade, always had a sewing machine running, making "that sound" that captured her heart. She was also greatly influenced by her favorite aunt, also an expert seamstress. Loving the feel of fabric and also the love of color and texture; Trudy has always been interested in quiltmaking. Then it happened! She met Ruth Gordon and the rest is history. Sticking to Ruth like glue, she has learned so many things that she is bursting at the "seams" wanting to teach others. Trudy is VERY people oriented and loves to help people to understand the art of quiltmaking by giving them "a visual". She is fun, energetic, and will definitely keep you "in stitches" while teaching new techniques of her own as well. She will add to the mix a lot of fun, hands on, relaxing classes here at Sun Valley Quilts.
She lives here in Sun City with her husband, where together they own and operate their own successful small business, Al's Meat Market.
