31048: Trapunto by Machine with Ann Petersen
This class teaches students how to do trapunto by machine, instead of the traditional method of splitting the backing and stuffing extra batting or yarn in by hand.
Students will pick one design to work on in class. Trace it onto your topping fabric, add the extra batting for stuffing, quilt, and trim the batting back to the quilted line. Then the cotton batting and back are added and the piece is quilted together.
This class is for student who have done a little free motion quilting and want to learn more.
