Welcome to Basic Serger Techniques. Do you only use your serger to finish seams? Would you like to learn more? This is the first class in a series to go over basic serger techniques and to get you comfortable with your machine. We will make a very simple square bottom tote and go over turning a corner without breaking thread, squaring the bottom of a bag, adding handles. We will be using a basic 4-thread over lock stitch throughout, the most basic stitch. Please be able to thread your serger, especially if it is not a BERNINA. Bring your serger manual with you in case we run into issues.
