86753GP: Garden Party
Beat the heat with the fun new appliqué quilt that is all the rage. Garden Party by Laura Heine will be taught mid-July to get your creative design processes simmering.
We will use the Quilt As You Go method ensuring that you only have a 20” square under your machine at any given time.
There will be three different components taught in this two day class:
Background quilting of the quilt sandwich -many different options will be offered
How-to’s of Appliqué on your colorful stash-busting scraps -
The latest techniques for sashing your already quilted squares into a finished project.
Due to time constraints, only 2 of the 12 squares will be finished in class. However you will leave with the knowledge to finish this creation into a wall-hanging, table topper or lap quilt.86753GP: Garden Party
