69021HQ: Embroidery: Edge to Edge Hoop Quilting
This technique has been requested several times. By using your embroidery capable machine and a standard hoop I can quilt a three-yard quilt in about 6 hours. The process is not super-fast but it is fun and the designs come in several sizes. I will guide you through the process. If you are using a top, batting and backing no stabilizer is required.
Students will need to purchase the book "Edge to Edge Quilting on Your Embroidery Machine" by Amelia Scott. The book purchase will allow you access to 10 quilting designs. Please layer a small quilt, table runner or a plain fabric sandwich of similar size to gain an understanding of the process.
