Instructor Bio:
Ramona Baird is the instructor for our Bernina embroidery software. With over 25 years of experience in machine embroidery and digitizing, she remembers being at square one not knowing anything and trying to find someone to help her, now she's here to help you!
Ramona's vast experience comes from a Fashion Design and custom dressmaking career which morphed into a career in embroidery, beginning with employment at a uniform store and then owner of a retail embroidery store in Tucson. She worked as Project Coordinator for Cactus Punch (Tucson), Education Director for the American Sewing Guild (National) , contributing writer for
"Creative Machine Embroidery" (C&T Publishing) with five covers featuring her designs. She currently is self-employed selling her machine embroidery designs and writing projects for with GrandSlamDesigns.com and EmbroideryDesigns.com, and was just named Lead Embroidery Designer for Riley Blake Designs. She loves pushing the limits of the software and figuring out new and creative ways to do things - like her latest endeavor - using the Bernina software to create stitching files for longarm quilting machines!
With creative yet simple projects, her classes will teach you what you need to know to learn your Bernina software so you, too, can bring to life what you envision.
