Sew Sisters: Wednesday

Join us for the Sew Sisters monthly get together. Bring whatever you want to work upon and enjoy the camaraderie of being around positive energy, laughter and tips from other quilters. 

If you wish to learn a new skill, then Reversible Quilts is the one for you. This method has you creating a back AND front quilt at the same time. Learn how to stitch on one side, yet be making a block on the back simultaneously. Once you have used sashing to connect your blocks into a variety of options (quilt, table runner, wall hanging) you are DONE except for binding your unique creation. The idea is from the now “out of print” book Reversible Quilting by Sharon Peterson. There are books available in used book stores and several copies will be available to look at during class.The small pattern for a table runner will be printed and available if that is how you wish to begin the process of learning this technique. It will be at the front counter with the sign up sheet for Sew Sisters. Once you master this, you will be just itching to create more and more two sided quilts… it's addictive
