January: Project will be “Easiest Bargello in the World” No more hundreds of tiny pieces, matching seams and choosing compatible colors. This “mellow” bargello is made with 2 ½ yards of any variegated, striped or ombre’ fabric. The graduating color scheme helps make the quilt appear to be a complicated bargello, but you are only sewing strips instead of squares and rectangles. If you wish to add an accent piece, this can also be included as a part of the bargello. If you wish to just come and work on your own project, that is also okay.February: The project will be Shamrock Table Runner if anyone wishes to make that, or quilters may work on their own interests.

March Madness and April Showers with Applique’ and Cacti! Join the Sew Sisters this spring to create some wacky cacti appliqué or just come and sew along with us on your own projects! This adorable pattern is called “Kinda Prickly”. It features 10 unique “placemat size” cacti appliqué that can also be arranged into a 58 x 58” wall hanging. Special tricks and tips will be shared on how to best stabilize your appliqué, which type of pressure foot to use, stitch choices and many other appliqué “need to know!” As always, everyone is welcome to come and stitch on whatever project they wish and enjoy the camaraderie of likeminded quilters.

Of course, the classes are always open for you to work on your own creations or get design elements for your personal
projects.
