Sew Sisters: Wednesday
Join us for the Sew Sisters monthly get together. Bring whatever you want to work upon and enjoy the camaraderie of being around positive energy, laughter and tips from other quilters.
Birds of a Feather July thru end of September.
If you wish to start a new project (or PHD) we will focus on a beautiful small quilt 65” x 80” with panels of birds and pieced maple leaves in the borders. Choose the spring/summer panel or a more autumnal theme. The Spring panel is available with companion fabrics at SVQ upon request from the front counter. The main lesson taught in this project involves half square triangles created 8 at a time. Learn this fun technique and use it in future quilts. The maple leaves are great stash busters, or buy some amounts of colorful batiks or blenders to create these stunning blocks.
Come for one day, or both— your choice and your schedule.
