Day 1 - March 31st QCT-QM-QP 101 – Getting Started

You’ve made the leap into QCT-Quiltmagine-Quilt Path automation, but now what?? Excited with quilts to quilt, but where do you start?

This full day beginner class with Joyce Blowers will cover the “need to know” basics to get you started. Hands-on class using your tablet with guided exercises and instruction to build skill and knowledge will cover:

• Setting up the tablet to work best with the software.
• Place and edit blocks with Select and Sew
• Design and sew edge-to-edge patterns in zones with Pantograph.
• Because the bobbin will run out some day, class will cover the easy to use repair feature
• Also covered: Help, Options, Tool Box
• Functions will be demonstrated at the frame and offer you the opportunity to try it yourself during the lunch break
• Handout included

Come eager to learn, bring your questions, and leave class with the knowledge you need to confidently move forward with your automation system.

Level: Beginner and above

Class Supplies: Tablet with software, charging cord, stylus helpful

Software Requirement:

• QCT: Ver 5 or 6+ or higher
• Quiltmagine: Ver 5 or 6
• Quilt Path: Ver 5 or 6 (includes all features including Gold)

Note: Classes are open to students regardless of the tier they own. Classes are the perfect opportunity to learn how to use features in a higher tier using demo mode (not the same as simulation mode). Work in demo mode, however, can’t be saved or stitched.
