Bernina’s new 12-Month Skill Hub Course is designed to help you expand your embroidery knowledge while making fun and practical projects each month. Every lesson includes a video and step-by-step handout, so you can follow along easily and build your confidence as you go.
We’ll be offering this course here at the shop every other month, giving you time to learn, practice, and enjoy each project at your own pace.
This is an online learning platform with on-demand courses for Bernina machine owners. It provides tutorials, lessons, and project-based content to help users learn their machines and enhance their skills. Access to the platform is typically through a purchased activation code, which grants 2 years of access to the course with the option to renew for free as long as the course is available.
What’s Included: We’ll provide some of the items you’ll embroider on—like a hat, socks, and a towel and more, plus you’ll discover new stabilizers and how to use them in different types of projects. You will learn about basic embroidery tools and quilting cotton embroidery. Then we will move on to an In the hoop project and from there to embroidery applique. If that’s not enough let’s tackle towels, a tote bag and some fleece. Oh, but wait there’s more! How about some cute socks with a hat and a tee shirt! We will also learn about computerized quilting on your quilts and some really cute free-standing lace! (See all our samples)! And last but not least Couching that brings beautiful texture and visual depth to your embroidery work.
